Asher Jacobsberg from the European Parliament’s Liaison Office in the UK came to Prestwick Academy to run an educational session about the European Parliament and the European Union for Junior Ambassadors who will be going on a Euroscola trip to Strasbourg.

Junior European Parliament Ambassadors wrote of the workshop, “We found the workshop was very good. It was extremely interesting getting to know others and their opinions on what the EU should be looking into like: climate change, defence and security, youth mobility, Erasmus, citizen rights, Northern Ireland and more.”
“Asher was very engaging and good at explaining what was going on we felt very intrigued and it was a very safe and comfortable environment to work in.”

“Another activity what we felt was well planned out was getting into groups with our parties and deciding what they usually agree and disagree on. We all loved getting involved with the bingo as well as it connected us with others and it gave us good understandings of different countries and cultures.”

“Overall, it got us hyped up about the trip to the European Parliament in Strasburg where we can’t wait to discover and learn in the European Parliament.”
