InfoPoint

The Senior Ambassadors appointed three Junior Ambassadors, who volunteered for it, to organise and set up the Info Point on the 5th of December 2024.

They prepared posters to inform about the European Union, explained them to other students, conducted a quiz about Europe/the EU, which asked for estimations and facts and encouraged engagement with the provided information, and answered questions. The European Ambassadors additionally provided leaflets to inform about European career and education opportunities. The European Ambassadors also decorated the hallway and provided biscuits bearing the EU flag.

Since the successful Kick-Off attracted many students, the InfoPoint has remained in the hallway and is prepared with new posters and information approximately bimonthly. General information about Europe, the EU and career opportunities as well as information about bimonthly changing countries in focus are displayed. The InfoPoint and its leaflets have also been used on our school’s open day to explain the European Ambassador program to interested visitors.

EPAS Team Comment

This is a great example for other schools: not just establishing an InfoPoint, but promoting it with some kind of event, like a quiz additional decorations, etc. Very well done!
