A Junior Ambassador (a student) proposed we organise a Careers Fair specially for Languages. She worked to invite the local Uni to come and present as well as organising her peers to edit videos of testimonials, prepare food for the day and steward the event. She also did a speech to publicise European Parliament Ambassador Schools (EPAS) action in the school and links between language learning and careers.

We invited representatives from the European Parliament Liaison Office in the UK (EPLO UK) as well as local business people to talk to students about the use of languages in their careers. Finally we delivered A level Taster lessons for French, Spanish, German and Mandarin.

5 schools visited us and we welcomed more than 250 students.
