European Languages Day
A class from the DSL that included members and non-members of the European Ambassadors visited the European Language Day event. Already being a multilingual group, we could engage in discussions about European intercultural development and interesting linguistic reflections. European Food InfoPoint

Clyst Vale Euros 2024
The event mirrored the Euros 2024 Championships, bringing together teams from all three school houses and lower years (7-10) for a fun, inclusive football competition. Organized by Mr. Adam Pearce, Head of Year 10, it was a hit! Check out the full write-up and results for more excitement!

European Elections Library stand and treasure hunt
Junior Ambassadors from the European Parliament got inspired and organized a treasure hunt to celebrate the European Elections. We teamed up with the Library, showcasing books on European history and democracy, and created an election-themed treasure hunt. Students searched for posters, solved secret messages, and competed for fun prizes!

German Exchange
In November and March, 37 Wellington students and their German partners joined a language and cultural exchange. UK students visited Germany for a week, and their German friends came to Scotland. The program included five days of workshops, sports, and team-building activities. Emilia’s report shares her exciting experience in the school magazine.

Model United Nations
Wellington School Junior Ambassadors hosted a Model UN for Primary 7, focusing on Human Rights and Child Labour. Delegates worked in pairs or threes, representing 12 countries linked to the EU. The JAs led the event, from opening to closing, rewarding top delegations. Participants loved it, gaining skills and eager for more!

Information point development
Over three days, Clevedon Secondary School’s Junior Ambassadors created an info board and leaflet detailing their goals in the EU Ambassador Schools program. These were showcased at their launch event and are now proudly displayed in the Humanities Faculty, regularly updated to spotlight their achievements. Check out their leaflet here!

Using Languages in the Workplace
Wellington School’s Junior Ambassadors rocked a workshop to show how languages shine in the workplace. They kicked off with British Council films, picking three crowd-pleasers. Attendees listed language-related jobs before and after, revealing more opportunities. Fun activities kept everyone engaged. It was such a hit, they’re doing it again!

EUROPE DAY 2024 CELEBRATION AT EUROPA SCHOOL UK
To celebrate Europe Day, our junior and senior ambassadors hosted a fun European food and games event. We showcased the EPAS club and shared info about the EU. On May 17th, students enjoyed homemade European sweets like French madeleines and Italian tiramisu cookies. It was a hit, with positive feedback all around!

Student-led Europe Day assembly
Students at Manchester Hospital School’s Galaxy House CAMHS unit teamed up to create an assembly for Europe Day. They showcased EU cultures and ended with a fun quiz. A Junior Ambassador presented it online to KS2 and KS3 students at Galaxy House and Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. Europe Day Celebrations
On Thursday, May 9th, we celebrated Europe Day with enthusiasm! Our NHEHS EPAS club organized fun activities, including a ‘wear European flag colors’ day. Students were eager to learn about Europe’s impact on our lives. Year 12 Ambassadors supported Umunandi with donations. We also enjoyed quizzes and a European-themed escape room!

Europe Day Quiz
To celebrate Europe Day, Junior Ambassadors at Carmel College joined a fun quiz about the EU and European Parliament. They even had a bonus round on European food, culture, destinations, and, of course, Eurovision! Dive into the excitement and discover more about this fantastic event.

Digital EU Info Point
Junior Ambassadors at Alcester Grammar School crafted a PowerPoint presentation to display on their school’s digital screens. collaborative Website & Podcast “Pildoras europeas”
Students from Europa School UK and Instituto Español Vicente Cañada Blanch have teamed up to create a website for our EU-related projects. Our project, “European Pills,” aims to inspire students to conduct small, impactful research. We’ve launched a podcast, and each year, more episodes will be added. Dive in and explore!

The EU and Negotiating our ongoing relationship
On April 30th, we welcomed Asher Jacobsberg from Europe House. He shared insights on the European Parliament’s structure and history, which was eye-opening for us. We played a fun bingo game to learn about EU countries and even participated in a debate, boosting our teamwork and public speaking skills!

European Biscuit Decorating
During Spring 2, a team of Junior Ambassadors organized a fun biscuit decorating event, showcasing awesome teamwork, communication, and leadership. They made colorful icing, researched European flags, and invited their peers to decorate biscuits with these flags. It was a creative and engaging way to learn and have fun!
